In addition, both CCUA and CCSUA have developed an Outreach program that works with local youth programs to train their in-house umpiring staffs. Both have an instruction staff made up of College, high school varsity & junior varsity umpires who specialize in various aspects of training of youth umpires. CCSUA counts among its summer service contract affiliates, The TriValley Men's Senior Baseball League [TVMSBL], the Bay Area Men's Senior Baseball League [BAMSBL], Los Medanos and Diablo Valley College Summer Baseball teams, various Senior and Junior American Legion programs throughout the EastBay and the Tri-Valley Babe Ruth League. Further, the CCSUA Umpires officiate games for the Diablo Valley Pony League [DVPL], the Castro Valley Independant Baseball League [CVIBL], Triple Crown Sports of NorCal, as well as numerous youth baseball leagues.
